My name is Nemanya, I am classically trained singer, and my biggest dream is to become a renowned world class performer, and to get the opportunity to share my talent and passion for music with the world.
I am originally from Europe, but in order to be able to "chase" my dream I relocated to L.A. a few years ago.
It was a big change for me and the past years have been tough and very challenging, but I still didn't give up on music and singing, even though with each day that passes by it seems that my dream is fading away. When I moved to L.A. I actually realized how difficult it is to get noticed and I've been through the struggles that all of us artists go through. In the end - some of us make it, but a vast majority, unfortunately, does not.
What makes it even more difficult is not knowing anyone in the music industry, not having the connections and not networking, which I am not able to do because of my everyday job that helps me pay the bills and survive in this city.
Still, I wake up every day with positive thoughts and I try to be optimistic, hoping that my talent, hard work, and passion for music will be recognized and discovered soon.
For many years now I've been singing and listening to well known hits, pop standards, soul, jazz, latin pop, in general - adult contemporary music, and in my opinion some of the greatest voices ever, including Barbra Streisand, Celine Dion, Andrea Bocelli, Whitney Houston and many others that inspire me so much.
The kind of music that they perform is so wonderful and I see myself doing something similar because I feel great emotions while listening and performing that type of songs, and they suit me so well.
Since I've been classically trained, I worked on my voice and my "craft" very hard during the past years. Besides classical compositions and genres that I already mentioned above, I sing many other genres, like Portuguese Fado, Spanish, French and Italian standards, pretty much any style that I get connected to and that I can "feel"...
What I find interesting about myself is my passion for researching and discovering music and styles from different cultures and countries, and it is a challenge for me to sing in all these different languages, which I love to do.
I believe that, in a way, this makes a singer stand out and be somewhat different. I love to explore, discover and learn new genres and try new things that I can do with my voice, like for example singing Portuguese fado, flamenco or tango, it's all a great challenge for me and I love it.
I've worked a lot on my voice and singing technique and I believe that now I am ready to start my journey and my career.
You are all professionals in the music industry. You worked on many projects and with many of the world's greatest artists, so I am hoping that you will like what I do and that you will be able to help me make my dreams come true.
My wish to make it is very strong and I think about it every single day.
I know that it is very difficult...but it is not impossible.
