Since the beginning, I’ve been drawn towards music and musicians. I wrote my first song when I was fourteen, it was some cheesy love song that I wrote because my friend had just broken up with her boyfriend, It was so bad; it shall never see the light of day. I wrote for many years after that and when I was nineteen I wrote a song called “Memories.” I believed in it so much that I had a track produced, went to a local studio and recorded it, and then I released it to the world. It was then that I realized songwriting is my true passion. It opened my eyes to show me that my dreams are very possible. So, with “Memories” out in the universe it created the opportunity to perform it live, which I got to do for the very first time in 2015. Being up on that stage obliterated all of my insecurities and it felt like home to me. My ultimate goal is to be able to write, sing, and perform until they close the casket. My biggest influence would have to be my father, who would play his guitar and sing to me almost every night until I fell asleep. Musically speaking one of my influences would have to be Lady Gaga. I love that she creates and performs without boundaries; and she has a killer voice too.
