Grant Dupré is an indie artist based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. As a kid, he always loved music, and he still does. He is a singer and a multi-instrumeltalist, versatile on keyboard, bass, drums, and trumpet, and can play others like guitar on an application-specific basis. A lot of his inspiration derives from musical icons like Stevie Wonder, any of the rat pack singers, and Miles Davis, as well newer artists/groups such as Ben Folds, Wintergatan, and Andrew Huang. He also takes inspiration from his fellow musician friends, Seth Finch and Scott Elder (to name a few), as well as local bands and artists like Captain Green and Summer Fits. He is classically trained in jazz, and uses his knowledge of theory to create in other genres, sometimes even fusing them together into "hybrid" genres. He mainly operates on SoundCloud and in a live setting, but has an album titled "Into the Stratosphere" set to to release October 2017, and is accepting gig opportunities.
