My name is Vu Cat Tuong. I am 23 years old. I am a 5th-year student of Biomedical Engineering Department in International University, Vietnam National University. Also, I am a Vietnamese freelance song-writer/singer. My passions are singing and writing. I am interested in playing piano, doing research, gymming and reading. My major instrument is vocal. My minor instruments are piano and drum. I am good at communicate and organisational skills. I have ability to write and perform songs in Vietnamese and English. My genres are Soul RnB, Blues and Pop. My objective is seeking a full scholarship in US notable music school to develop my skills and talents to become an international artist and music producer.

Here are some of my achievements which were marked as my continuous attempt. In 2011, I was in top 10 best students in Vietnam who received GEFSL scholarship of General Electronic in Biomedical Engineering Major. In 2012, I had got full scholarship for "Artist Development Program" of Soul Academy. In 2014, I had got full scholarship at MPU Music School. The following timeline shows some of my professional accomplishments in Vietnam. From 2007 to 2011 (Prior to public recognition): Silver Prize in National Youth Melody Contest in 2007, Third Prize in Student Singing Contest in 2008, Winner of International University Singer in 2011, Runner up of Coca-Cola Music Award 2011 and Best Performance at Coca-Cola Music Award 2011. In 2013 (Key turning point), I was Runner-up of The Voice Vietnam 2013.
In 2014, I rose to fame and started working as a professional artist in Vietnam). These are some of my remarkable awards in 2014: 1. Self-written and performed digital single «Vết Mưa» (Trace of The Rain) won «Monthly Favourite Song» (Bài Hát Yêu Thích) in January 2014 in the context of «Most Favourite Song» Program organized by VTV3 - Vietnam Television. 2. Best Performance for self-written and self-performed my digital single «Yêu Xa» (Long Distance Love) for the month August in the context of «Vietnamese Song 2014» (Bài Hát Việt 2014) program organised by VTV6 - Vietnam Television. 3. One of the four outstanding young talents to be performed at ELLE Women In Music 2014 in August organised by ELLE Vietnam Magazine. 4. Self-written and performed single «Yeu Xa» won «Most Favourite Song of the Year» voted by audiences in the context of «Vietnamese Song 2014» program organised by VTV6 - Vietnam Television.
5. «Passion and Creativity» Award in the context of «Vietnamese Song 2014» program organised by VTV6 - Vietnam Television.

14. «Composer of the Year»award in the context of «HTV Award 2014» held by HTV – Hochiminh Television- the leading TV Channel in the South of Vietnam.

In 2015, this is the time I start maintaining success, and here are some pieces of my achievements:
1. «Song of the Month» for self-written and self-performed single «Phai» for the month of June in the context of «Vietnamese Song 2015» program (Bài Hát Việt 2015)organized by VTV6 - Vietnam Television.

During 1 year joining to professional music environment, I have got some professional experiences: 1. Having performed in almost 40 minishows (at least 12 songs each show) in 2013 till now. 2. Having participated in big commercial events organised by Sony, Viettel, Nokia, Honda, etc. 3. Composed songs for other artists such as:The Winter (Đông), Derelict Man (Chơ Vơ). 4. Composed commercial song for Piaggio campaign in May 2015.

From 2014 until now, I have released 3 Professional Products, those are: 1. January 2014: Released Digital Single Vet Mua (self-written & performed). 2. June 2014: Released Digital Single Yeu Xa (self-written & performed). 3. December 2014: Released Album Giai Ma (including 9 songs that are self-written & performed).
