Aina Agamalieva - jazz singer, songwriter
Aina discovered her love for music since early childhood, and love for jazz – when she first heard "Lullaby of Birdland" performed by great Ella Fitzgerald. In 2008 Aina graduated from Moscow jazz college "Consort”. Her teachers in "Consort" were Michaela Steinhauer, Miles Griffith, Tatevik Oganesyan, in Gnesin State College - Sergey Manukyan, in "Chicago Summer School of jazz vocal" at the Moscow College of Improvised Music - Tiffany Monique and Bradley Williams.
Aina repeatedly performed in many Moscow clubs. Collaborated with talented jazz musicians: pianist Vagif Sadikhov, Oleg Starikov, Gregory Sandomirsky, double bassist Dmitry Tolochkov, drummers Alexei Denisov, Andrey Romanika.
Aina has a strong voice with a wide range, incredible charisma, talent in communication with her public and performing her favourite music. Since 2009, Aina composes and performs her own songs.
On the 30th of September 2012 in Moscow club Artefaq in the project “Jazz Conversations” was held the presentation of music video by director Oleg Zhdanov on the song "Without You" by Aina Agamalieva. In arrangement and recording of the song took part: Anastasia Nekrasova (saxophone) , Tatiana Zhilyaeva (piano), Anatoly Kozhaev (double bass), Michael Borychev (drums) - great musicians with whom Aina cooperates and performs nowadays.
A wide range of music played by Aina and quartet includes newly arranged jazz standards, Aina’s own songs and national music.
