The Grammy Award-winning saxophonist Kenny G is the most successful instrumental musician in history, having dominated the record charts for decades and sold over 75 million albums to date.
Growing up in Seattle, Kenny’s first professional gig came in high school, when he performed with Barry White and his Love Unlimited Orchestra. After choosing to devote his life to music, he played with various musicians over the next few years.
In 1982 he signed with Arista Records and released his self-titled debut album. He followed up with two more records and in 1986 he released Duotones where he attained international stardom.
Over the past several decades, Kenny’s smooth blend of jazz, pop and R&B has captivated people worldwide.
Kenny is the head of instrumental music department at ISINA, where he will help other top performers to hone their craft and set them up for success in the music industry.
