ISINA Finalists Shannon Prior and Jakonda & Nejtrino Collaborate

A few weeks ago, ISINA mentor Walter Afanasieff came up with the clever idea that two of our July finalists, Shannon Prior and DJs Jakonda & Nejtrino, should collaborate.

Well, we’re thrilled to report that that collaboration has produced something very cool: a new version of Prior’s song “The Usual”!

It was truly an international effort to get this single ready. Prior is based in Los Angeles. Jakonda & Nejtrino are based out of Russia. They had to work remotely but the musicians were clicking and were able to complete this project pretty fast. It was no easy feat but they handled it like pros!

Next up? A music video! Again, no easy feat as our musicians are located across the world from each other. We believe they’re up to the task, though! They’ll shoot the video remotely on two different continents and we hope it’ll be ready to share with you soon.
