Taika Waititi takes home a Grammy!

Taika Waititi: Film and tv director, screenwriter, actor, comedian, and now Grammy winner?! The writer-director recently took home the Grammy for Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media for his smash hit Jojo Rabbit. 

“I guess they’re just giving Grammys to anyone now! I’ll take it, thank you,” the comedian-director joked, in his usual fashion.

The soundtrack for Jojo Rabbit is peppered with historic songs like “Komm gib mir deine Hand (I Want To Hold Your Hand)” by The Beatles and “Helden” by David Bowie. 

With Grammy in tow, Taika is quickly on the path to the much a much esteemed EGOT. He has already won an Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay for Jojo Rabbit at the Oscars in 2020. He’s also received Emmy nominations for his work on The Mandalorian and What We Do In The Shadows.

We believe that this well-earned win is still just the beginning for Taika, whose stature in Hollywood rises by the day!
