Robin Thicke a “total believer” in power of therapy

Robin Thicke a “total believer” in power of therapy

Robin Thicke recently opened up about his experiences with therapy alongside his fiancé, April Love Geary, and Paula Patton, his ex-wife.

“Therapy is not for everybody all the time, but it definitely opens barriers for us, even just to go once or twice,” Thicke said, “if you’re struggling in your relationship, one visit, one conversation with a third party can change things.”

He continued to say that couples therapy had been doing great things for him and April, and even help with him and Paula with their co-parenting.

“We’ve had a few sessions and it’s really helped for us, so I am a total believer in therapy.”

Although therapy has worked for Thicke, he also acknowledged that it is “totally understandable” that people may not want to go to therapy every week or put it on their schedule. He does believe that there are times where therapy becomes necessary.

For instance, “when you hit a wall and you know you’ve hit a wall,” the singer explained, “a great way to knock that wall down is to have a third party or another person help you,” he explained.
