Paul Oakenfold Releases Graphic Novel Memoir

It would appear that one of Isina’s own mentors is taking on challenges outside of the realm of music, but well within the world of art. Oakenfold will be collaborating with artists and publisher Z2 Comics for The Wonderful World of Perfecto: With Paul Oakenfold and Friends, a graphic novel retelling Oakenfold’s life in a “not quite true story” way.

According to the publisher, Oakenfold said he was, "Honored and excited to be a part of the first electronic music graphic novel. Being a fan of comic books for many years, I enjoyed telling my story in this context, which shows things in a different light."

Oakenfold will also be creating an original soundtrack for the project, which will only be available with the purchase of the graphic novel - “The Wonderful World of Perfecto” will be available November 21, along with a companion soundtrack album.
