Paul Oakenfold Goes Interstellar in Florida

As the sweltering Florida summer heat oozed its way into pre-Fourth of July weekend, one shining ray of cool hope emanated from Shephard’s Beach Resort on Sunday night. Internationally acclaimed trance DJ, Paul Oakenfold, headlined the decks in front of a chill audience.

Although Oakenfold's set featured some of his more radio friendly songs, he predominantly focused on deep house and techno cuts - there is talk that actually sampled the soundtrack of the movie Interstellar.

While most of Beach House Sundays’ bookings promoted a more hyped environment, this evening carried a much needed calm ambience to a heated and busy weekend.
