Born to travelling musicians Tim, a guitarist and songwriter and Tina, a singer and violinist, Shannon's passion for music started at the tender age of five. Her parents made sure to expose her to a wide variety of music, embracing her Celtic roots with bands such as Clannad and The Corrs. Her parents also made sure to expose her to other genres of music with bands such as Van Halen, Queen, and Alison Krauss and Union Station. This combined with involvement in local plays and choirs in her hometown Snellville, GA would create an insatiable thirst for music.
It was picking up the piano at the age of 16 though that would expand her musical horizons, as she began using the piano to arrange and write original music, infusing sounds of jazz, pop, and soul. By the time she reached college, Shannon found herself delving into audio engineering and production, working with fellow producers and audio engineers to really mold and shape her sound.
Currently, Shannon resides in Kalamazoo, Michigan and is attending Western Michigan University, where she has obtained a minor in music technology, audio engineering, and audio production. She has appeared as a featured vocalist on "The Fall" with producer Crowd Cntrl, which was released on Uprise Music label on June 20, 2017. The track has garnered over 100,000 plays on Spotify and over 40,000 on Soundcloud. Shannon also opened up for the band MetroStation in the Fall of 2017. Currently, she is releasing covers and originals on her youtube channel.
