ISINA Applicant Spotlight: MiaMei

MiaMei is a 15 year old singer/songwriter from central California.

MiaMei says music is her passion. It’s something she’s been doing since she was little.

“In 8th grade I ran for Vice President and I rapped my speech instead of just saying it,” MiaMei wrote. And in case you were wondering, she added: “Yes, I won!”

When she’s not writing, MiaMei loves being with her family and her dog, and going to the beach. It’s one of her favorite places to go and she finds it very peaceful. Don’t we all!.

“I love hearing a song and then putting my words and voice to it,” she said. “Creating a masterpiece for everyone to enjoy.”
