Kristin Chenoweth Announces Holiday Album

Kristin Chenoweth is preparing for the holiday season. She just announced her next album will be one filled with seasonal cheer. Happiness is… Christmas! will be out October 22nd, so you’ll have two months of listening time before Christmas.

Happiness is… Christmas! will be Chenoweth’s second holiday album, following 2008’s A Lovely Way to Spend Christmas. The album is of special note to us here at ISINA because ISINA Advisor and award-winning producer Jay Landers and fellow producer Fred Mollin teamed up with Chenoweth to create the album!

We know it’s still early, but if you want just a little taste of the holiday season, here’s a sneak peek from the album:

“The inspiration for this album was light. Light at the end of the tunnel,” says Chenoweth. “It’s been a difficult time for all. With the cover and some of the songs, light is a big theme. I wanted to make a Christmas album for everybody.”
