Meet Madina Amin

Another of our top artists, Madina Amin, was born and raised in Uzbekistan. She grew up in a family of working parents, her father a well-known economist and scientist, and her mother a teacher of Russian language and literature. Growing up, music was always a huge part of Madina’s life.

She graduated from 64th high school in Uzbekistan. She went on to graduate from music school with a major in piano. In 2001, Madina moved to New York to pursue her dream in music. She entered Julliard School and started studying opera from Dodi Protero, a student of the legendary diva Toti Del Monte. In 2002, Madina started attending classes taught by Svetlana Strezeva, whom Madina credits with really helping her discover your vocal potential for performing classical compositions.

Since 2004, Madina has been working for an American business company and expanding her family (daughter Yasmeen was born in 2008 and son Ali was born in 2011), while still focusing on her music.

In 2012 she went back to her hometown to work on her solo album “Anticipation.” The album included covers of famous Italian and French performers, as well as some original compositions written Paul Uporov, an Uzbec composer.
