Elvis Costello Announces New Tour and Album

First bit of news: Elvis Costello is going back on the road with his band, the Imposters, starting this October.

The 20-show tour will kick off October 13th in Memphis, Tennessee, at the Soundstage at Graceland. They’ll play a few more spots in the southern US before hitting up the East Coast, the midwest, and finally finishing their tour on the West Coast with three shows in California, the last one at the Fox Theater in Oakland on November 14th.

Second bit of news: Costello also recently announced a new album, Spanish Model, will be due out on September 10th. Spanish Model will feature translated versions of 16 of his songs from his classic 1978 album, This Year’s Model. A fascinating way to approach an album, but Costello has never shied away from trying new things.
