Chris Lord-Alge Remix to Be Featured on New Goo Goo Dolls Album Rarities

This album from the legendary rock band will feature 20 rare or even unheard songs from 1995 through 2007. We’re talking live performances, radio performances, acoustic reworkings, and remixes.

One particularly interesting song of note is the third track of the album: “Long Way Down” (Chris Lord-Alge remix). That’s right, ISINA mentor Chris Lord-Alge has remixed the Goo Goo Dolls’ hit “Long Way Down” off their 1995 breakthrough album A Boy Named Goo.

While the album release is the good news, the bad news is that Goo Goo Dolls, unfortunately, had to reschedule their summer tour. Originally set for 2020, it was pushed back to 2021 and was recently pushed again to 2022. It’s a bummer, but at least Goo Goo Dolls fans will have the new album to give them their fill until the band can get out there and start performing again.
