Paul Oakenfold scheduled to play AG Rugby opening game

AG Rugby, Austin’s ML rugby team is scheduled to kick off their season on March 20, at Bold Stadium at the Circuit of the Americas. Now we’ve learned that fresh Austinite, Paul Oakenfold will be playing a concert after the match!

Oakenfold, a long-time rugby fan, is excited to partner up with AG Rugby for the 2021 season. “I am so happy to have a [rugby] team here in town,” Oakenfold said in a news release. “As a new Austin Resident myself, I’m very much looking forward to being part of the community and putting on an unforgettable show opening night.”

Due to the C-19 pandemic, Bold Stadium will be at 50% capacity and fans will be in socially distant pods.
