Quincy Jones plays at O2

Not many people have had the same impact on music that Quincy Jones has had. Even fewer have had a night of music dedicated to them at the O2.

The legendary hitmaker will be performing in a one-off show at London's O2 Arena Alongside a number of special guests and a symphony orchestra. It'll take place on June 27th and tickets for this once in a lifetime show go on sale April 13th at 10 AM. Speaking about the concert, Jones said: "Every time I get to return to the UK, it’s truly meaningful; after not being allowed in at one point, you never take it for granted. But more importantly, I know this show is going to be an emotional one for me because we’ll be doing a tribute to my brother Rod Temperton, on his home turf. I love and miss him with all of my heart and soul, but I’m definitely looking forward to sharing such a special moment with his home country.” Jones is widely known as one of the most important people in music. TIME magazine named him as one of the most influential jazz musicians of the 20th Century. Just another great success story from someone who has worked with some of Isina’s mentors.
