Paul Oakenfold and Goldie Star in Historical Documentary Celebrating 30 Years of Rave

A new Sky Arts documentary series is going to share the story of the rave revolution through the experiences of over 40 musicians. The Agony & The Ecstasy will be presented by DJs Paul Oakenfold, Norman Jay MBE, Goldie MBE and Dave Pearce as they take a stroll down memory lane on the cultural, social and political influences over the rave scene and how it skyrocketed from an underground delicacy to worldwide phenomenon.

The show will span three episodes, with a bonus special show, as the historic series follows the superstar DJs on a wistful journey that will take place from the roots of house in Chicago and weave into the uprising in the UK and arrive at what is now an international billion-dollar industry.
