Please meet Saxi

Performing as Saxi, New Zealand singer-songwriter Anna Sexton is another applicant that will participate in ISINA's Fall arrival. Saxi specializes in melodic, confessional pop-rock. With a soaring voice and emotive lyrics, she's as adept at up-tempo dance beats (the driving "Beautiful Stranger”) as she is with heartfelt ballads (the yearning "Burning Memory"). She’s in her 20s now, but she’s been making music since the age of 13 when her older brother was so impressed with her earliest attempts at composing that he paid for her first studio recording. Since then, Saxi has proven that her brother made a very wise investment.
