J. Carson is a singer/songwriter living in Los Angeles. Growing up in Philadelphia, music has been the driving force is his life from a very early age. His earliest inspirations included Mariah Carey, Justin Timberlake, Michael Jackson and NeYo. Today he describes his musical style as a mixture of Pop and Dance music infused with Hip-Hop and R&B.
During the span of his 5 year career so far, he has recorded 5 singles and his recent EP, “Untitled.” James G described the EP on his blog Vanity 52 as “Untitled is a solid body of work that offers some pretty awesome dance tracks and gives you a taste of what to expect from J. in the future. Standout tracks on the EP include “Louder”, “Invest in Me”, and “Atmosphere”. Long story short, if you enjoy good, upbeat tracks, look no further – J. has you covered..” J. Carson writes all of his own lyrics and melodies. He has worked with such producers as Insane P, Ossey James, and Nes H. All of his music can be found on iTunes. In 2016 J. Carson was nominated for best pop song at the Hollywood music and media awards and was a semi finalist in the unsigned only music competition also in 2016. Just announced that J. was once again nominated for a HMMA Award for best holiday song for J.'s christmas single "Be alone on Christmas." He his currently recording his first LP, with a working title of “Therapy Sessions.”
Going forward, J.Carson’s goals are to a record deal and go on a world tour. He is very driven and is constantly writing new material. He works very hard to promote his music. His fan base is always increasing, with over 64k facebook fans and over 6k Instagram followers.
