I am a composer, songwriter and producer interested in orchestral music (instrumentals and movie scores) and pop/adult contemporary.
I have a B.Mus and an Advanced Diploma in Music Production and Sound Engineering from the Abbey Road Institute London.
I have a classical training in conservatory with my main instrument being the viola. Despite that, I consider myself a self-taught composer.
I play viola and violin, I compose on the piano, and I can conduct, arrange, engineer, produce and program audio.
My grandpa instilled in me the love of music since I was born. He was a music lover and a record collector, and so am I.
It's a long story but, although I began composing at the age of seven, my compositions are starting to see the light now.
I have perfect pitch, but that by itself means nothing. That's why I've been taking care of training my ear since I was young.
I am a sick perfectionist and 99% is not good enough for me. Only when I [consider that I] get the 100% out of something, then and only then I can let go and move on.
I have toured the world playing the viola for the acclaimed Spanish flamenco dancer Joaquín Cortés. That adventure lasted almost five years, and I ended up performing in some of the best venues of more than thirty countries.
After that I became a teacher of a music conservatory in Spain, where apart from teaching I used to conduct and eventually I ended up being appointed Headmaster, position that I held for almost ten years.
I have produced orchestral sessions in Abbey Road Studios and I am currently composing two albums for Audio Network.
I wouldn't like to leave this world without having worked with Celine Dion, Barbra Streisand, Walter Afanasieff, David Foster and Brian May from Queen.
I aim to be a professional film composer, songwriter and record producer.
I am very honored and grateful to be a part of the arrival at ISINA, and I am definitely going to push the boat during the next six weeks.
Thank you Walter and everyone at ISINA for believing in me and in my music.
