My name is Hoai An, a composer from Vietnam. Remember the first time my Dad gave me an acoustic guitar, when I was 9 year old. Cause my house too far, I can not go to the music class of our small town. Then I learned guitar by myself. When I was 16, I joined to an "old fashion" band, play every night for dancing. My Dad worried about me (he's a famous mathematic teacher in Vietnam), so he asked me focus on my education.... I must stopped my job at the discotheque, then I made my rock band - named BlueWave, just perform at weekend. After a few years cover songs from Gun'n Roses, SkidRow, Metallica, Bon Jovi, Led Zeppelin... I recognized the truth, music is my life and start to compose music. But, back again my family story, I graduate Computer Bachelor in Software Engineering. I do a lot of work: magazine editor ( computing, music ), even teach martial art... But in Vietnam, people knows me as a composer, with hundreds songs popular and many prizes. My story reaches Coca-Cola Vietnam and I am honor to be the Brand Ambassador of Coca-Cola in 2009, with the slogan "You'll never know unless you try"! I came to US 3 times in 2011, 2012, 2013 to watch the Paris By Night shows at Planet Hollywood where my songs were performed for Vietnamese community in US... My weakness is English, cause I just learn by watching English spoken movies. So in the trips to US I have chance to practice my English. Now I often write music at night, make the demo for singer, work with the band then recording them all. I compose music for singers, TV series, advertising / commercial music... I am very happy to hear about ISINA, which gives the young talents around the world a chance to be more professinal, even when I am not young anymore. The first time I come to ISINA's site, OMG I saw Mr Frank Gambale my guitarist idol picture... And when I read Mr Walter A 's profile, I suprise that I knew alot of his world-class songs, but do not have the author information till now... Alot of top ranks artist in ISINA, very admire. I join in to test myself, have more friends, and all over I have a chance to work with a dream team. I wrote "Winter of lonely" in 1995, 20 years before, when I was 18.
