My name is Hazel Swoo. I am 21 years old and the older brother of 4 sisters and 1 baby brother. I lost my father to the prison system for my first 18 years on this Earth. Who, currently has been re incarcerated. I make music from the pain of seeing my mother go through hard times, and struggle to my own journey and stories of each step I take on my journey. I started writing songs at 6 years old. My only way of communicating is through music. I cannot sleep without creating a song. I admit I have a true addiction. My addiction helps me cope with pain, and let's my younger siblings look at me with a positive light. I have an expectation of being just like my father held over me by others. This is my chance to prove everyone incorrect!!!
