Born in Caracas, Venezuela, 24 year-old Songwriter/Multi-Instrumentalist/Producer Alë Jay began his musical studies at the age of 3, and hasn't turned to anything else since. After studying jazz and honing his abilities at the world-renowned University of North Texas Music Program, his calling card has become the ability to play and produce in a wide array of diverse styles at a moment’s notice.

His songwriting in particular recently garnered him some attention from none other than nine-time Grammy winner John Legend, who hand selected Alë Jay to open for him at the 2015 SXSW Music Festival in Austin. Additionally, he has won several songwriting competitions, most notably being selected a winner of honorable mention in the prestigious ‘International Songwriting Competition’ for his song “Come On Over, Baby” in the R&B category. His simple melodies quickly captivate audiences; while the soulful jazz infused grooves underneath make even the shyest want to dance.

Just this year (2017) Alë Jay won a GOLD CLIO MUSIC AWARD for his song "Put it Down" written for a Chevy campaign against texting and driving.
