TIM HENDRICKS PROJECT - Tim Hendricks (33) is a dynamic South African pop-rock musician who certainly hasn't found the time to gather any moss. Based between Johannesburg and Los Angeles, he has been extremely active on both music fronts. From humble beginnings in P.E. working at a shop selling music instruments, he has worked is his way into the inner circles of the who's who in the international entertainment industry, rubbing shoulders with Hollywood hot shots and playing in both Joburg and L.A.'s most prestigious clubs. While preparing to return to Los Angeles on a more permanent basis, Tim produced his first album, "Shadow of your Imagination", while nurturing local talent, teaching guitar, music and drums to young students in Joburg. His album was received very well in the media, enjoying steady rotation on Highveld Stereo, described by Leisure Options Magazine as containing "flowing melodies and original ideas, with catchy songs ranging from the slow paced to tracks buzzing with liveliness." His first music video for the track "Release me" was premiered on SABC2 on 3 May on the popular youth program, Hectic 99, which was accompanied by a live performance and an interview.
"Release Me" has been playlisted on Mnet HD, Mnet Series,SABC 2,ETV along with DMX playlisting the track.
Tim Hendricks Project performed live on ETV Sunrise on 23 May 2012 featuring Groove Battery they performed the tracks "Going Down Low","Just for Matilda","Release Me" and the new "In Your Soul".
Recently Tim Hendricks Project received 23 000+views on YouTube for their live acoustic version of "Release Me" on Balcony TV Johannesburg also their YouTube Official Video for "Release Me" has 22 000+ views respectively.
Tim was featured in the City Press iMag style segment entitled "Guitar Hero" A muso who is inspired by the City of Angels
Tim Hendricks Project in the June 2012 edition of Screen Africa Magazine article entitled A New Age Company referring to their work on the music video for "Release Me" with Keystone Productions and Soundscapes Studio working with Telmo dos Reis.
On the recording front Tim worked with Michael Chatzakis at Tasty Beats Studio on "In Your Soul" and "Here with Me" feat Ross Learmonth(Prime Circle),Christina Rodo from Groove Battery

In Your Soul and Here with Me were Mastered by legendary Tommy Dietrick-Guns and Roses,David Bowie,Smashing Pumpkins,The Dandy Warhols,Sex Pistols- at Sky Lab Studio in Encino Los Angeles. The tracks 'Contemplating Change' , 'Cosmic Cloud' , 'Oxygen' and 'Coffee Song' were Mastered by Don Grossinger in NYC Winchester -Brian Wilson (Smile), Bob Dylan , The Rolling Stones , Maroon 5, Christina Aguilera to name a few.
The Album titled 'Contemplating Change' is available on Pre Order through iTunes South Africa and this is Tim's newest effort released in South Africa through Next Music.
Currently Tim has signed a 3 year Digital Distribution Contract with The Orchard-Africa as a Recording Artist (Singer-Songwriter, Guitarist, Multi-instrumentalist and Producer)
