Like so many others being considered, I took the leap of faith from a small Midwest town and moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career as a singer/songwriter. It's been an incredible journey; from writing for Quincy Jones, to receiving a Grammy for work I did with Michael Bublé, but my greatest passion is currently being realized as I aspire to share my music as an artist. I wish to create media that will inspire, heal, and give hope. Quite frankly, when I found out that Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds was a part of this program that was all I needed to know to submit. The songs....no....the iconic classics he's penned for himself and so many other artists is what inspired me to be a creator. My hope, if nothing else, is to meet and potentially be mentored by one of my generation's greatest musical contributors. My desire is to continue the legacy he and so many others like him built: making good music! Not media to merely create more white noise, but art with passion and soul in the very fiber of its existence.
