I was born 6 and a half weeks premayure, snd while that caused an eye condition that limits my vision, I believe it was a blessing in disguise. I believe it gave me my musical gift. I never had to train my ears for pitch, I was born with the ability to interpret pitch very well. At age 3, I discovered this when my grandparents bought me a keyboard. I started to figure out songs by myself. By age 7, I made the decision to learn more instruments, so I started recorder, organ, and even bagpipes. In 6th grade, I started clarinet, and that christmas, guitar. It was at that point when I started piecing together exactly what my passion was, what I wanted to devote my life to...singing and playing guitar. I didn't sing publicly until 9th grade, but that was magical. It was a talent show at school. I ended up winning that one, and 2 more after that. Ever since, I've known that I want to be known, I want my music to make a positive difference. I'm s gentle and sensitive person who loves songs that have meaning to them, songs about life. Happy, sad, angry, everything that will make somebody say I'm not alone, this says it perfectly.
