Lua de Morais

Singer, Songwriter, Actress & Writer.

She was born in Brasília, Brazil. Daughter of a great Brazilian poet, Menezes y Morais. She grew up traveling with her mother (a teacher), and stepfather (an Argentine musician) throughout many cities of Latin America.

Her life always involved music, and that's why she wants to leave a mark & deliver a message through her songs and poems, besides sharing personal experiences.

Life is a “magical experience, where any day could be the day we could change the history of humanity," she says.

Lua is a woman of courage and inner-strength who found her way in spite of the obstacles that life threw her way, something that can be appreciated in the lyrics of her songs.
Her "Cristal voice" (as her father calls it), along with her delicacy, natural beauty and sensuality, convey the deepest feelings and reveal the intimacy of her soul.

"Find your way, search for your dream and reach for that star," is the message she reveals through her music.

It was in Chile where she began her professional career as an artist and fulfilled the dream of launching their first album as a songwriter & composer (album called: "Puedes Soñar"), thanks to an award given by the National Council for Culture and Arts. (FONDART, Year 2008). In 2012 she released her second independent music album called "Creo em Mi", available worldwide in ITunes,Spotify, etc. She was nominated in 2015 as "Best Pop Balad Artist", in Pulsar Awards. As a trilingual artist, her songs are available in Spanish, English and Portuguese.

She has participated in many TV shows as a performer and entertainer in Chile, "Rojo Fama Contra Fama" in TVN, (2005), "Cantando por un sueño" on Channel 13, (2007), "Primer Plano", ("Lady Blue") in CHV (years 2007-2008), "Así Somos" in the female group "Black Violet" Red TV, (2008), "Go Pop", kids program in Megavisión (year 2009), and as "Beyonce" for Channel 13, "Mi Nombre Es" (2014). She is part of two important musicals companies in Santiago de Chile this year (2015).

Currently she is working on the promotion of her third album, "Viento” and her Poetry book ("NUA, Voz del Silencio"-"NUA, Voice of Silence", (January, 2016).
