American rapper, producer, and songwriter from Utica, New York (born on April 11, 1995). Travon "Trizzy" Howard gathered nationwide attention with his hit single, "My Own Style". He also released "Success vs Fame", "The Goat" and "Let Me Introduce Myself" throughout 2014-15.
As a newborn, Howard was the eleventh youngest of 20 children, the eleventh of 15 half-siblings, and the third youngest of 3 step-siblings. Travon Howard is the son of James A. Howard Sr. from Newburgh, New York, and Ruby M. McBride from Manhattan, New York. At eleven years of age, he was kicked out of middle school for fighting and sent out to an alternative learning school. In November 2011, Travon Howard was released from an alternative learning school and sent back to a public high school. 3 months after his seventeenth birthday in 2012, his older cousin, also his manager was gunned down after leaving a local bar.
In 2007, He developed the alias Trizzy from a family member. In the summer of 2009, Travon Howard was a part of a local music group named Dub Club producing 80% of the group's music. He developed the alias Trizzy Beats when he started receiving local recognition for his involvement in Dub Club's compilation series. In 2010 Travon took a short break from producing music and decided to develop his rapping skills to become a rapper. In 2011, while still enrolled in high school, Travon began uploading videos of instrumentals created in his bedroom on YouTube, including covers of contemporary hit songs along with occasional originals, for which he accomplished himself on FL Studio. Later on, he released his first single, "Young Dreams". However, after a short period of using his stage name, he decided to change his name back to Trizzy.
After writing his first song at age 5 and teaching himself to create instrumentals at 12, Trizzy dedicated his childhood years to making music. Despite realizing early on that he wanted to be a musician, he never saw himself as a performer and just wanted to make music, developing a stage fright.
Travon Howard graduated from Thomas R. Proctor High School in Utica, New York. Before graduating, Howard also attended Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!), a groundbreaking and exciting program that transforms middle and high school students into real, confident entrepreneurs.
