Los Angeles based Music Producer and Songwriter David "Davix” Foreman Jr., is deemed one of the leading unique music professionals for his drive in development and cultivating talent. Born in Kansas City and raised in the church, Davix grew up playing 5 instruments, dancing, rapping, singing in choirs, school events and a family band with three brothers. These roots fashioned his work ethic, creativity, and abilityto later move to the City of Angels at 18 in 2002 to produce soundtracks for film & TV. In 2008 he landed his first major placement with co-writer D'anae Lewis, "Brand New" - Keyshia Cole.
Collaborated with other producers, Phantom Boyz to develop artist for Bad Boy Records under P.Diddy in 2010. 2011, he worked with the late great Heavy D producing, writing, and mixing on his last studio LP. Davix then collaborated with Timbaland producing songs and 3 sync catalogs for Extreme, resulting in thousands of syncs and counting. Following that, Joe Simpson reached out to Davix and his team to develop and produce MTV’s The Alectrix from 2012-13 which aired for 8 episodes. By 2015-2016 Davix found himself in Miami exploring his latin soul with one of Latin Music's top, hit producers, Maffio (PitBull, Daddy Yankee, Nicki Jam) which resulted in a Latin Grammy nomination in 2017's 'Album of the Year' for Nicki Jam's 'Fenix' (11x platinum).
Currently, Davix is collaborating to develop and produce talent with Grammy award-winning producers such as Brian Kennedy (Rihanna, Rascal Flatts, Chris Brown), Kuk Harrell (Beyonce, Rihanna, Justin Beiber), and The Hit Bangaz (A.I.,The Jacksons, RiRi). He is also producing a multitude of catalogs for Sony's TV and film sync company Extreme, writing and producing major and indie projects, while making time to consult for music tech companies.
